This new season also marks a new phase. Starting in January, 22 Med will evolve with a new version, in which video will play a greater role. New partnerships will also allow us to broaden the topics and perspectives on the Mediterranean.
22 Med resumes on October 1st. While the leadership changes, the team remains in place and continues the work started from the beginning. With new ambitions, but without changing what has guided 22 Med since its inception, we will continue to tell the story of a Mediterranean that is not limited to the crises it faces.
Our DNA does not change. We continue to practice journalism that does not stop at identifying problems but focuses on those who seek new paths and experiment with solutions. The Mediterranean is also a space of creation and cooperation, traversed by shared cultures and histories. Today, we want to further broaden our perspective on the Mediterranean by giving more space to initiatives that transform territories and address environmental and social challenges, as well as to those who seek new ways of living together. We will also continue to follow the ideas, cultures, and stories that circulate between the shores. Because the connections are numerous, even if they sometimes remain little visible. Researchers, universities, economic actors, associations, and citizens work and exchange beyond borders. This Mediterranean made of concrete relationships has its place in 22 Med.
